Kodak Brownie Flash Six-20
On occasion I use this Kodak Brownie Flash Six-20 (circa 1947) camera. It's fitted with a Twindar lens and a No. 2 hood. For close in snaps a No. 7A portrait lens is attached using 11 or 40 bulbs draped with a white handkerchief. For a big blitz it's a 2 or 22 bulb. To date I've been using Lucky and Shanghai 100 speed 120 film re-spooled on 620 spools. Negatives develop well in Rodinal 1:50.It's all just a matter of convenience.

Kalart Pressman
This blog came to a halt two months ago when my Epson scanner TWAIN died. In the interim I now have an iMac and a Microtek scanner which I'm configuring. Since I'm new to iMac computers, Microtek scanners and SilverFast software it will be about a month or so before I post more flashbulb images. Be assured I've been taking many flashbulb snapshots on Lucky and Shanghai film using my Baby Graflex camera in the greater NYC area. Please check back from time to time for future images illuminated with photo flashbulbs.

Dead Soldiers...
I shoot flashbulb pictures using a Graflex Baby Speed Graphic, a 120 6x9 Graphic back and a Kalart flashgun. These events inspired this photoflashbulb blog.
